He had a heart attack in January. Was set to have bi pass surgery - The day before his surgery he almost bled to death in his bathroom at home. After being rushed to the hospital, an emergency colonoscopy, they found he had stage 3c colon cancer. It didn't spread to other organs, but spread to 22 lymph nodes. Surgeons were able to remove all but 5 and resection his colon. He's been undergoing chemotherapy since - He has 3 more treatments. Tomorrow he goes for a brain scan - His oncologist 'thinks' the cancer spread to his brain. He's only 66... Never been sick a day in his life. I just don't understand it....
8/22 update.
The cancer didn't spread but he has neuropathy. The chemo has been stopped indefintetly.
