My dad was sent home from the hospital
with the IV still in his arm! How in world did they forget or miss this...I have no idea!! Apparently my dad was out of it, my stepmother was too emotional to notice AND the doctor and nurses forgot all about it.
Luckily my sister who is a nursing student was home to take it out.

When I had my son I almost left with the iv still in my arm as well. I noticed it as I was being wheeled out.

OMGosh this happened a few years ago (actually a long time ago) to my uncle. He came home and he couldn't figure out why his arm was still hurting.
Looked at it, and saw the needle still in his arm
