My DD is not eating well at all ??? Can it be her teeth ???Worried
For the past month my DD Mariella hasnt been eating well at all. She just turned 8 mths and is getting her bottom teeth, She hasnt been eating her baby food, I will admit she wasnt a big fan of the baby food but now as soon as you put one spoonful in her mouth she will not open for another.. Is this because of her teeth or just she doesnt like the food .. I am worried has anyone going though the same problem ??? Any suggestions ???

I think this is around the time that we really started having eating problems with Emily, and to be honest I think she just wanted to be more independent.
She didn't even have any teeth at that point, didn't get her first until right before her 1st birthday.
But I started giving her "grown up food" at that point. I'd still have the baby food as a backup, but started giving her things like rice, soft pieces of potatoes, beans, soft cut up fruit (like pears, mango, etc), cheese, things like that.....

It's probably because of her teeth. Ava would go through that. I am a true believer that when babies are hungry, they will eat. Just keep offering it to her, and maybe offer up some new options.

I am so glad to get some advice. I was thinking to give her table food but she is cutting teeth and I am afraid she will not be able to eat the food. I tried pastina today and she didnt want this either, but it was the first day. The next step I was going to boil Chicken and Peas and Carrots and blend them .

Have you tried giving her a cold bagel or something of the sort to chew on? It might help her teeth
