Did I ever tell you that I hate people?

MY DH was just a victim of road rage!!!!!
He was driving home from the train station and some guy whizzed by him, cut him off and then stopped in front of him and ran over to his car yelling that my dh tried to run him off the road, and then punched him in the face!!!
I was on the phone with him and the cops finally showed up. I am FREAKING!!!! I told him to have this guy arrested for assault!!!!!

Yes, my dh was merging (it becomes one lane)and I guess this guy was flying in the lane that was ending trying to get ahead of traffic, and says my dh tried to run him into the woods 
Good reason to punch someone in the face

OMG, Lisa you so don't need any more stress right now
Looks like this guy tried to cause an accident too get DH to ram his car and collect insurance money Not sure but it sounds fishy.
Good thing the cops are there.

Interestingly enough, my dh is a claims examiner...lol.
The cops told dh HE has to arrest the guy, so he did  and they put cuffs on the guy with the guy yelling the whole time that my dh tried to run him off the road, and that he never hit him, and dh should be arrested for attempted murder.
Now, they have to go to the precinct to fill out paperwork. DH said it seemed like the cops were trying to disuade him from doing anything

So the guy's lane was ending (he does have the right of way BTW since HIS lane is ending!!!). HE cuts your DH then proceeds to punch your DH. I would sue his a$$ for assault. That's the minimum he deserves. Tell DH to document the punch/bruise (that will show up later!) with a camera and see a doctor to attest to the bruise. You will glad you documented it. I can't believe the cop does not want FH to charge. It's probably a lot of paperwork but I would do it. I would not let him get away with it.

The guy was not next to him when he was merging. It had already started to merge and my dh was getting over, and this guy was flying trying to get ahead of everyone I guess. Dh said he wasn't there when he started to merge, and all of a sudden the guy came flying in around him, almost hitting him.
The guy stopped and waited for the cops too saying he would have dh arrested.

I think this guy might have psycological problems he jumps from one extreme to the next! I am glad your Dh had this guy arrested and I hope is ok he must be fuming.

Yes, I will document everything. He is at the station now. He is the most layed back guy you know, I can't believe this happened to him.
And, I was on the phone with him when it happened!!!! I heard the guy yelling, and then the line went dead.

I will never understand why people feel the need to correct other people's driving mistakes. First, people make mistakes driving. We all do. We are human. But thankfully God gave you a pass. NOthing happened as a result. ALl is well and you will never see the person again. NO harm, No foul. A blip on the radar screen. But to waste your precious time to correct it, to get out of your car and fight it? I just don't get that.
A hotheaded friend once told me this story: This guy was weaving lanes and quickly switched into her lane, while she was in the blind spot. SHe pulled up to him when they came to the light and he was looking in the other direction, to his right. She started cursing at him and insulting him- what the F is wrong with you?, cant you see I have kids? they should take your license... etc... Guy turns around and she can see he's been crying... he apologizes... his mother passed away suddenly that morning and he cant seem to keep focus. SHe never judges anyone anymore.
SOrry... I am just pi$$ed about the story! This stuff totally annoys me!
