my dog keeps throwing up
my dog has been throwing up regularly - maybe once every two weeks. It looks like spit-up -- she coughs it up, then runs around and plays as usual. This has been going on for awhile now.
When I took her to the vet for her checkup, I mentioned it. They asked if she otherwise acts like her normal self before and after (answer is yes) and told me not to worry, but i'm starting to.
any ideas what this could be from?

Does your dog drink a ton of water before she coughs up?
My dogs will usually become excited and run around, drink and ton of water and the spit it back up. then play continues as usual

When Charlie pants a lot he throws up. The doctor said its normal....
I would say Charlie does throw up about once every 3 weeks on average just from various things. We've taken him to the vet so much and they just say it's normal.

Misty throws up all the time...mostly just a little spit. I think most times it's just something caught in their throat or grass that causes it.
If the dog is acting okay otherwise, I wouldn't worry.

Bella throws up a lot too, we say she is bulimic. It usually happens if she eats or drinks too quickly or if she hasn't eaten in a long time, she will throw up bile. Vet says its fine.

Did you have any blood work done?

Did you have any blood work done?
yes - everything came back fine.
