MY DS hospitalized and diagnosed with celiac disease
I am beyond upset, depressed, terrfiied, etc. my 20 month old son was just released from the hospital after being there 4 days, he was severly dehydrated and constipated and a whole bunch of other things. I cant even talk about how horrible it was for him and me to see him there. Anyway, he was finally diagnosed with cleiac disease. we are so happy to have answers but he is no where near himslef and hasnt been for so long. In time we hope he will come back to us and be himself. The celiac has made him cranky, lethargic, moody, clingy, depressed, etc. He lost about 4 ppounds and is al skin adn bones. I just wanted to let say hug your little ones and pray that they will remain healthy and happy. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. To top it all off I have a 2 month old. PLease pray for my sons speedy recovery.

Seeing your little one sick and in the hospital is the worst experience you can have as a parent- I remember it well.

My best friend's daughter has this and went thru a similiar process.
Right now she is healthy and on a strict gluten free diet. I can get more information for you if you want it.
It will get better

My mom has Celiac but didn't develop it until a couple of years ago.

Ohh I am so sorry to hear this. Hopefully now with a diagnosis he can start on a path to recovery with the right diet and will get back to his normal self
