My DS will not let me brush his teeth...what do i do?
His teeth are going to rot out of his head.
I just cant take it...he clinches his mouth shut and has no interest in brushing. He has a dentist appt on the 18th but im nervous he will have tons of cavities and he is only 26 months (and he only eats a lot junk).

Nope because I dont think rewards will work. My DS is such a stubborn kid that i feel nothing will work. I dont know what to reward him with and I know stickers wont work and food miight not work either since I give him other treats once a day.

Did you try letting him brush your teeth while you brush his? This worked with DD (but I have to admit, it didn't last long) but worth a try.

I told DS if he doesn't let me brush is teeth the doctor will have to put needles in his teeth ( AKA fill cavities) . He hates needles but now lets me brush his teeth

I would take away the treats until he starts letting you brush. Especially since you think he has cavities already.

I have the same problem with my 22 month old. He used to be totally fine, but now no amount of promises or threats or spin brushes or negotiating will get him to let me. Once in a while I can use his old rubber fingertip brush for about 10 seconds, but mostly he clamps his mouth shut.  I am so afraid he's gonna have a mouth full of cavities!!!
For a while the "You brush my teeth while I brush yours" worked. But not anymore.

I have always told my LO's that I was tickling their teeth. It sounds silly, but they giggle the whole time.
