My first Etsy Issue - so upset.... UPDATE
So, I sent a vendor my glider cushions and my own fabric to make slipcovers for it. I just checked in with her to check on the status. I shipped the cushions vis UPS on 2/27.
Well, she responded and said she never got them! So, now I have to try to track then down via UPS. Not only did the shipping cost $40, the fabric was $60 and now if the cushions are really lost I will have to try to find replacements or get another freakin glider!!
GRRRRRRRRRR....
UPDATE - I was able to get the tracking code from UPS and they said it was delivered to her front door on 3/2. She told me that she never got it but she would call her local UPS store. Then she told me she found it at one of the neighbor's house down the block. Her house # is 39 and she found it at #34.
It sounds fishy to me and I honestly think she was just running behind. I was supposed to have the cushions back to me by 4/6. I just doesn't make sense that her neighbor would keep 2 big boxes at her house for a MONTH without contacting her.
But, whatever! I told her I needed the cushions shipped back to me on 4/16 so we'll see what happens!

You can check online using the tracking number you got when you shipped it. It should tell you if it's, on a truck, in transit, wrong address, etc. Then you can call and see what happened and where it is now. I hope you find it!

I have to see if I still have the paperwork - it was over a month ago. I have a feeling that I am screwed.

No, they should be able to track the package even without a shipping #. They will track packages to or from an address. I hope they find them!

Oh no! I hope you can find the paperwork. I think UPS automatically insures everything they send up to $100 so at least you'd have something. Good luck.

I would contact UPS. They insure anything with a value less than $100 without requiring additional payment.
You can probably even call UPS without the tracking number and just give them your name/address as the sender's info, they can tell you the status. And if it's lost start a claim.

I would see if they can give you some kind of tracking number. They have an internal tracking number that's different than the one they give you. We had a package supposedly delivered to us and never received it. While arguing back and forth with UPS, I noticed their web site kept changing the delivery status of my package. My package went from being "delivered" to "re-scheduled" to "in transit" in that order all in the same day. I printed every computer screen shot with time stamp to show them that someone internally was messing with my package!
I hope you find out what happened to your package!

I had a problem with a ups delivery. Tracking said I received it but I never did. Turns out THEY had my wrong address and delivered it to my neighbors who were away for 2 weeks...husband found it in their backyard I would call ups back and have them comfirm that they had her correct address!

Definitely sounds fishy to me too! No one would keep the boxes that long if they were delivered incorrectly, unless your seller was out of town, etc you know?
Hopefully you have them ASAP!

I gotta tell you-- I have had similar experiences with Etsy. Of course yours is much worse since you actually sent your stuff to this vendor.
I ordered 2 hats for Sasha-- one being a custom birthday hat for her party. I ordered in Dec, and the seller said it took 2 weeks to make. Fine, her party was in Feb. I got it a few days before her party. The vendor was non-communicative and I followed up and she said that she had a death in the family. WHile I feel bad about that-- you are running a business, and it had been 2 months, since I placed my order. I prob wouldn't have been p!ssed if she just was honest and said I may be a little delayed.
The other hat was a knit hat, and this seller told me it would be late. No problem. Then she followed up and apologized it was later because she had a miscarriage. She wasn't later than she told me originally-- but I found it SO WEIRD that she divulged such personal info to me.
These people forget they are running a business and should act professionally.
Hope you get your cushions in time! I think she was lying-- the dog ate her homework. Yeah, that's the ticket!
