My First Pregnancy RANT!
I've been able to deal with everyone's comments about breast feeding, C-sections, epidurals and finding out the sex of MY baby....
But this takes the cake!!!!!
I parked my car outside a petstore this weekend. And as I was getting out, a chevy tahoe was waiting to pull into the spot next to me. Even though there were 5 empty spots next to me. The person saw me get out of my car, My full 7 1/2 month preggo belly and all, then proceeded to pull in as I walked away...
I'm in the store for 10 min, and I come back and the person who parked his truck next to mine parked SOOOO close, that I couldn't even squeeze in to get to my door!!!
OK, so I squeezed my 7 1/2 month belly between the cars thinking MAYBE, I'll be able to open the door...
NOPE!!! I could barely open the door 6 inches.. I was Fuming mad, and I couldn't even climb in from the passenger side b/c the way the console and shifter was.
Thank goodness for a nice boy collecting carts who offered to help move my truck out for me. And the kicker was that he was a skinny rail and could barely fit!
Sooo..To the owner of the Black Chevy Tahoe in Elwood... Thanks so much for making my day even more aggravating than it already was.. And to the kid that helped me, it is reasuring that there are still nice kids around to help preggos like me!

Actually, I tried waiting for the owner, but had more errands to run.. And even after an hour of errands, I drove passed the parking lot, and the truck was still there!!!! I would have been stuck!
The kid was soo sweet! I only had 10 bucks on me and gave it to him.. I really appreciated what he did!

Wow, that is sooo obnoxious! I hate when people park too close. Thank goodness for that sweet kid!

OMG the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago .....and I am a whopping 9 months preggers. I stated screaming in the parking lot.

OMG I feel your pain, I had a similar situation happen this morning and had to climb over through the passenger seat, took me about 15 minutes to get in since no one was there to help.
I just wanted to smash into the other car.

OMG I would have been absolutely furious!!! I'm angry now just reading about it. I would have gone back in the store and had them get the owner of the car over the loud speaker... lol
That was really sweet of the kid to help you. Thank goodness he was there!

I'm guessing which parking lot it was..I can think of one pet store in Elwood where the parking lot is ALWAYS a disaster..I used to work in that shopping center (if im thinking of the right one) and thankfully was able to park in the back so I didn't have to deal with morons like that!
I'm so sorry that happened.
Yeeeahhh for that kid who came along! So sweet of him.

I hate close parkers! Just wait until you are trying to put a carseat in the car and you can barely open the door!

I would have and I do not hesitate to take your door and hit it right into the vehicle next to you.
I have a gigantic britax car seat that no one can miss, yet this kind of thing happened to me - and the person backed into the spot so his/her mirrors were in the way - so I just opened the door right up and did what I had to do - even applied some nice hard pressure to dig my door into the mirror as I put the baby in her seat. If the person cared about their vehicle they'd leave some space or park further away. When I parked before baby, I parked away from typical "kid cars" so as to not get scratched or dung.
People are stupid!
