With my SIL they also swore that she had to have GD because the baby always measured very big. They told her a few days before she was due when she went in for a checkup that the baby was about 12 lbs, so they had her go straight to the hospital and did a c-section. Turned out that the baby was only 10 lbs. Which is still a very big baby, and I don't know if she'd have gone through a vag delivery on a 10 lb baby, but they were still off by 2 lbs.

I want them to send me to the perinatal place for all these sonograms instead of using the crappy machines in thier office! I feel like it would be more accurate that way, but my dr said it's not necessary for me to go there.
