My Idea of a Fun Saturday Night Has Changed...
Last night, I had a really good evening. What did I do? I went to the laundromat, by myself, to wash two large comforters that won't fit in our machine. DH was home with DS, and I had over an hour of quiet and time to read. I was actually happy as a clam.
DH and I did go out for an early dinner with DS before this, so there was a little more to the evening, but how sad that I found the laundromat pleasant. Ahhh, I am truly pathetic.

I remember going for a mammogram when Ava was about 6 months old. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be called, and I remember thinking "This is great, I get to sit here and watch t.v and read magazines with no interruptions." Pathetic!!!

we had out first night that dd stayed at her grandparents house in four months.... we did dinner with another couple and I fell asleep halfway through the movie we rented. How disappointing!

Sounds great to me too.
I was thinking the same earlier this week when I was sitting in my dr's office waiting room, reading magazines & watching the news on the TV while DH was home w/ DD.

My DS is at his Grandparents this morning. I was so excited to clean the house from top to bottom!!!
