My IVF journey - Updated 11/18
I love reading everyones journals so I am going to one myself.
Background:
We have one DS, 3 1/2 years old (no problems conceiving)
Trying since June '08
2 failed IUI's
10/9- CD20, saw Dr. B for blood and sono, I didn't take BC so we are doing an LH start. I start Estrace on Monday (CD23) and Ganirelix Tuesday (CD24)
10/10- Received my giant box of meds!! WOW!
10/12- Started the Estrace, very leaky!
10/13- Started Ganirelix, very easy shots. Now I wait for AF!
10/14- I spoke to Sandra today about the Estrace supps b/c it was so irritating! I wanted to see if there was a pill I could take, well she informed me that although it's fine I took the supps, I am supposed to be taking the little pills that say Estradoil 
I figured since they said take Estrace, the bottle marked Estrace was what I was supposed to be taking
10/20- Went in for a checkup today, everything looks good. I stop the Ganirelix and continue the Estrace and start Prednisone and Follistim. We are looking at a tentative ER of late next week!!
10/23- Today we saw 10 follies on the right and 8 on the left, all measuring 10 or under. I keep stimming until monday and then go back in again. Lining looks good!
10/26- Today I have 15 follies on the right and 10 on the left, the lead follies are measuring at 11, I thought they'd be bigger by now. Dr. B said to keep doing the ganirelix in the am, Follistim in the PM and go back in for a check on Wed.
10/28- Today I have 17 on the right, 10 on the left, lead follies are at a 12 right now. I feel sooooooo bloated!!! I hope these follies grow quick!!! I go back on Friday.
10-30- Well today we have over 30 follies, alot are 12 and under and there is a 13, 15 and 17, dr has me adding Menopur tonight and seeing him again in the morning so he can monitor the growth rate. Tonight is my 11th night of stimming, I thought I'd be done by now!
10/31- I'm so glad I did this journal, if for no other reason that being able to keep track of so many dr's appts! Went in for a check today and nothing changed since yesterday, Dr. B wanted to make sure after adding the Menopur that the lead follies didn't take off beyond the smaller ones. I go back Monday morning....I'm really hoping for a retrieval early next week, I'm getting very uncomfortable and taking 3 shots a day is getting old fast!
I'm so glad I have this board to vent to!!!!
11/2- Another sono today, follies are growing but still need a little time. I go back tomorrow. Dr. B is hoping for a Thurs/Fri retrieval. Based on my bloodwork today he had me stop the follistim and continue with the Menopur (3 powders/1 water). Please send me good vibes for a ER soon!
11/3- FINALLY!! I get to stop all stimming and trigger tonight with Lupron at 11:30pm, have to be in the city at 10am Thursday! 
11/5- Had my ER today! They got 16 eggs!!! I have to say I am in more pain than I expected but hopefully by tomorrow that will subside. I can't wait for the fertilization report
11/6- Got the call this morning....of the 16 eggs, 15 were mature and 10 fertilized!
Dr. B is going to call me Sunday morning and tell me if he's doing day 3 or day 5, prob day 3 (sun) he said unless all the embies are doing really well!
11/8- Went in this morning, we put back 2 perfect 8 cell grade 1 embies
There were 4 8 cell and 1 6 cell, they are going to freeze the other 2 8's and the 6 and keep the others growing to blast to see if they can freeze them too. Dr. B said to relax for the next couple of days so that's exactly what I'm going to do! I think the waiting part is going to be the worst of this whole process!
11/18- Dr. B confirmed my BFN suspicions 
I don't know how many more times I can be let down. A year and a half of this is enough! I have to call when I get AF and we will start a FET cycle. He is going to change a few things. Thanks for being such a great supportive group of girls...I will continue to update when we start the cycle!

That was the same protocol i was on and it worked wonders for me. Can't wait to read your updates!!! Good Luck!!!!!
