Was raining/sleeting. Now it's just really windy. No flickering YET, but I just threw laundry in, put wood in the fireplace and cranked up the heat in case we lose power!

Ours too, in Huntington. I don't understand why, it's not even that windy. Under normal circumstances this weather wouldn't have made them flicker.

Does flickering mean an outage is imminent?



I don't think it means an outage is imminent. We never lost power with Sandy but had the lights flicker on and off many times, enough so that all of our appliances were blinking the wrong times. Keep your fingers crossed! We just flickered here again too and I'm getting nervous . . .

This. We never lost power either but had constant flickering. Fingers crossed for everyone!
