My little guy is having surgery tomorrow...UPDATE: He's home!
My little Ethan is having tubes put in his ears tomorrow. He's been treated 10 times in about 14 wks for ear infections and several courses of different antibiotics aren't working. We went to two ENT's and they both, along with our pediatrician, agree that this is the way to go. I know it's a very common procedure and tons of children have gone through it. I'm still very nervous about tomorrow.
Ethan will be 9 mos on Friday and has been through so much over the past couple of months. In addition to the ear infections, he's had two hospitalizations for bronchiolitis. Again, I know these are somewhat common situations and he could be dealing with things that are much, much worse. It's just that he's my baby and it breaks my heart to see him go through so much.
Any prayers and positive thoughts you can spare are appreciated.

Good luck tomorrow!! My daughter is the same age and is having the same procedure in 2 weeks...I just keep thinking to myself that it is the best thing for her..I'm trying hard to focus on that aspect of it...

Thank you so much for the positive thoughts and prayers. My little E is home and sleeping after the surgery. Everything went as planned and the doctor is confident it will help resolve his ear infection issues.
