My new SERIOUS pet peeve
Why, why, why does the anesthesiologist who is poking me with a needle answer her cell phone with the friggning needle HANGING FROM MY HAND TO TAKE THE CALL? 
Seriously, are we all that friggin important that we can't miss a call once in awhile???? (it was a personal call by the way)
I looked at her and said "Do you think you can take your phone call ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED STICKING ME WITH THE NEEDLE AND BANDAGED ME UP?" 
Sometimes I hate the progression of technology  This is not the first time seeing someone in the medical field who has answered their cell phone while with a patient. I usually write a letter but I doubt it really does anything. I will be writing a long letter today.
Thanks for letting me vent!

Wow, totally unprofessional!!!!
She should absolutely NOT be allowed to accept personal phone calls while with a patient. I would def write a letter to her superior and bring this to their attention!!

I still had to wait to be knocked out for my procedure - didn't want to pizz her off and not wake me up ontime 
I did receive a survey from the center and I plan on making a big stink about it. I also plan on writing to my doctor that is affiliated with the place to make him aware of this

good for you i really think we as a society are way to obsessed with our cell phones, i hate when i see other teachers on their cell phones, how are you dealing with 25-30 kids in front of you and talking on your phone

I would DEFINITLEY fill out that survey!!!
OMGosh, so rude, and VERY unprofessional! I hope she gets in HUGE trouble!

WOW. Now that is ridiculous. And I was annoyed when my RE answered the phone during an appointment  At least he wasnt in the middle of a procedure. That is leaps and bounds worse!!!
