My niece went to the hospital last night
She was complaining about chest pains ( she is 7 years old) they did a echo cardiogram on her and some other test and everything came out ok.. Thank god!! But they still dont know what caused it... Maybe acid reflux??? Hopefully she wont have another exprience like this ever again.
Can a 7 year old get acid reflux at a young age? I know this is a stupid question but its scary to hear that she went through something like this. She is like a daughter to me.
Eta: She is home she didn't stay overnight, But she did stay home from school just to keep an eye on her today and she is doing better.

I'm sorry you had such a scare!!
Yes, a 7 year old can definitely get acid reflux. My nephew just turned 6 and has been suffering with acid reflux problems since he was 4! It is manageable!
