My puppy won't eat, any suggestions??
I have a 10 month old terrior mix. She recently decided that she did not want to eat puppy food anymore. She prefers the dog food. We have a beagle and a puggle as well. After a few days of kind of eating the dog food, she decided that she doesn't want that either. I don't think she is sick or anything. She is still super active and will eat dog cookies and people food scraps. ( we don't over indulge, so she's not full. Just a nibble here and there) We also can't leave the food down for her to eat when she gets hungry because the puggle is a savage when it comes to food. I just don't know what to do anymore. None of my dogs, or husbands dogs have ever done this in our whole lives!

She'll eat when she's hungry. GIving her cookies and food from the table is keeping her from eating her food. Survival of the fittest, she won't starve herself to death
Because she is still young, my only concern would be that her blood sugar may drop. So I'd go to the store and pick up Nutri-Cal. A little supplement to keep her going until she starts eating again. It also sparks an appetite. Separate her from the other dog while she eats also

Def agree with the other posters. We also believe in the 20 min rule, if she doesnt eat in 20 min we pick it up. Also if the food is dry add a little warm water to it to make the smell of the food come out
