My quality time with my mom and son today..
i met up with my mom at the park earlier today. i intended on using the toddler swings because ds loves it but it was occupied by some menacing kids. they're cursing left and right. "eff this, eff that. shlt this shlt that. suck this.." banging swing seats together making really loud noises. taunting other little kids, etx. the park's keeper even shoo'ed them away. only to come back again. but before they came back, ds and i were on it. they came back adn did the same thing. so i yelled at them. ugh! i've become that person. then the kids were inching to leave except for ONE KID! the ring leader. so i focused most of my scolding at him. and now i feel bad. they deserved it, most definitely. but i'm suppose to be the adult here -- yadda, yadda..
UGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Don't feel bad. The other day, I took DS to the park as well and my nephew was there with my father.
Long story short, my nephew makes friends (always older kids). They were playing nice together until he comes up to me and goes "Im all wet". Huh?
I see the boys mother filling up water guns FOR them...Are you kidding.
My nephew comes over and helps me push DS on the swing (you can tell he wanted no part of them anymore..he's 3, these boys had to be 5 or 6)..
The boys come over and I very nicely say "Please, Please do not squirt him. I Don't need him getting sick"...Thank goodness they said "OK" and walked away back over to their moms who were just "sunning" themselves chatting away on the benches...
I was pizzed! I was pizzed that the MOTHER filled the water guns.
Yes. I have become THAT mother! Heck, I've even become THAT Aunt!
I didn't feel bad at all! People are just rude and some are hard to figure out.

i agree! that's just awful and so disrespectful! kids, these days, don't think about their own actions or the mess they will cause others. it's shameful -- that's what it is. and it seriously repells me from entering that park again. i'll go back.. but it will be on a rare occasion. believe me, everyone. i wanted to say worse things!
