My shower is tomorrow and everyone is backing out!
So my shower is tomorrow and my mother and MIL have already gotten tons of phone calls from each sides saying that if it's bad out they're not driving in the snow. Both sides come from all over, so while a few are local to the shower site, most have to drive a ways......even I have to actually. 
Don't get me wrong, I don't want anyone risking their life for my shower, but it's going to be kinda sucky with only a couple of people there. They have the option to reschedule I guess, but I'm due in like 4 weeks and the chances of everyone being free all at the same time in the next couple of weekends is slim to none so we might as well just have it I said. My mom and MIL agreed.
Best case I can hope for is that the weathermen are wrong and the weather is fine. We'll see I guess. I'm just throwing myself a pity party right now, don't mind me.

Hopefully they are wrong- they always are My brother is a meterologist for the National weather Service- I'll call him and see what all their radars are saying!

Don't stress it! I got married during tropical storm hanna, and we thought no one was going to come. The hall was packed. Hopefully, they are wrong about the snow, enjoy your baby shower!

Oh Alissa! I am praying for clear sky's for most of the day for you! And if for some reason it is just a few ppl, it will be fine and ppl will get the babys gifts to you somehow...don't worry, either way it will be nice and you will get everything you need before the baby gets here

Lee Goldberg from channel 7 just said the heavy snow doesn't start till 6...so, maybe everyone can make there and home before the big part even hits..keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I am sorry-- I know how you feel. The same thing happened with my Bachelorette Party-- which was also in January, albeit 4 years ago.
You'll still have fun-- and people will still come if the weather isn't too bad.
