My shower was Saturday! pics included!
I had such a great time at my shower - my mom and sister did a fantastic time putting it together - it was overwhelming in the best sense of the word!
We had it at Jack Duggan's - where I had my rehearsal dinner in december of '05. I cant recommend this place highly enough - the food is great, the people are so nice and easy to deal with, you get the entire upstairs (fireplace, exposed brick, private bar) and there's a dining room for eating and another space for opening the presents.
If you're looking for a shower game - here's one my mom organized that was a hit!
She put together a quiz where the answers were either Deirdre or Neil. Questions like "who had a blankie til age 6?" "Who, as a child, accidentally locked his/her cat in the refrigerator?" (Neil - not me!) "Who was born a baldie and didnt have hair til age 1?" (me). It was a lot of fun and people were laughing at all the funny facts they learned.
My family is HUGE on toasts and my mom, sister and godmother all said a few words, which was so special. Even my mother in law got in the act - she never speaks in public and said how happy she was to be awaiting a new grandchild.
It was just wonderful and my baby is soooooo lucky and loved already!
here are a few pics - my apologies if I offend any Bush supporters - I'm a DIEHARD democrat and my cousin got me a particularly appropriate onesie!
my friend Jenna (samnjenna on LIF) hand made a gorgeous sweater and hat in my favorite color - Orange!!!!
the tables - with daffodils and little menu cards 
my mom, sister and I (I actually did my hair - but it looks a mess in the pics - and I really thought this dress was flattering - now I'm thinking that it perhaps wasnt the best choice for almost 35 weeks - but who cares!

I was so thinking the same thing. You had such a tiny stomach bac at the G2G. Time surely does fly.
