Although it's kind of gross...at least it's not life-threatening. My Doberman had an ulcer disease and although he had hideous lumps all over his body when he got older, he lived a long happy life.

I'm strengthened by the fact that it's just a skin issue, but still upset that she *has* something, if that makes sense.
What really gets me is that I brought it to the attention of the vet LAST YEAR and mentioned Lupus and she brushed me off. I'm not a dummy - I research everything to death and go in to both vet and people-doctor visits armed and sometimes dangerous.
Nothing is slowing this pup down anytime soon, I can guarantee that!

Although it s ucks that she has any at all, at least it's something not life threatning. I know you'd rather her have nothing at all but I guess something like that could be considered the lesser of two evils. It probably bothers you more then it bothers her. Hope everything continues to work out for the best for her! (and you!)

Oh no! poor baby I pray that the treatment can keep it in check.

I'm glad it's not more serious too. If she appears to leave it alone, hopefully with treatment it will get even better and she won't even notice it. Thanks for updating
