My swollen feet and bad fashion

So on the days I commute into the city (only two more times ) I've been wearing black Nikes because evn though my feet swell like crazy, haveing them confined seems to work better for me (I can't wear flip flops to work plus they are not enough support for the railroad/subway stairs & walking).

I've dealt with looking kinda dumpy in slacks or khakis and sneakers.

This morning I ended up wearing leggings (again, not really appropriate for my job), a long top and the sneakers and just felt like poop about the way I looked.


Anyway, I ended up going to Payless at lunch and picked these up:



... (albeit TWO sizes bigger than my normal size) and at least I feel kinda cute

i feel you! ive been wearing flip flops to work everyday. i told my boss he better not say anything cause nothing else fits! im normally a size 12 so finding something that fits is horrible for me! but those shoes are cute.
