My Thursday Morning Testing Story....
So I wake up this morning at 5am (!!!) to test because that is when my husband leaves for work and he wanted to be there when I tested. So I drag myself out of bed and pull out the dollar store test. HOLY GOD!  They are TINY! You have to pee in a cup (gross...) and then use a little dropper to put exactly four drops of pee in the reservoir. Well I thought I did it wrong because the strip where the lines come up started turning pink... like the whole strip, not a line or anything. So I pull out another one (hey, they are a dollar, why not?  ) and do it again since I have a whole cup full of pee. Well just as I do exactly 4 drops into the second test I realize that the control line has come up on the first test (the whole strip turns light pink and then the control lines are much darker pink). I waited a few minutes and nothing... BFN  I told my husband and this was the first time he was visibly disappointed. The last few months he has said things like "well back to trying! " but this morning he was sad and that made me even more sad. He reminded me that I'm not out of it until AF shows.
He left for work and I went back to sleep and woke up about an hour later to get ready and I was already spotting.  I just sat on the toilet and cried.
So that was my horribly disappointing morning... how did everyone else do?

That is how those work-- the pink gradually moves across the test window-- that shows that the test is working.
I think those Dollar Tree tests are not as sensitive as some of the early response tests-- so, keep testing and maybe pick up a package of FRER.

BFN here too. I took an FRER & an IC because I just swore there was something there on both  Great, I'm not pregnant & I'm insane on top of it.
I'm trying to tell myself that I'm only 10DPO (maybe even 9DPO) & with my m/c, my line was faint at 11DPO & pracitcally non-existant on 12DPO. I didn't really get a decent line until 13DPO. Unfortunately, I really don't believe that I'd get a BFN at 10DPO if I were really pregnanct. I spent a little while crying this morning too.

Well for some reason, I thought i had two FR pregnancy tests left. I tested on 10dpo and BFN, so I planned on testing the day I was late which was this morning. So last night, I go get the test to put in the bathroom so I could test this morning only to find out the the extra test was just pre-seed. I stuffed the extra one in the same box.  Well my temp dropped this morning, so I'm right there with you.
