My Weight Loss Journey

I needed to set up a diary that I could update daily. Also, any feedback is appreciated.

Right now, I am 135 and a size 6. I want to be 125 and a size 4. I find that to be my best weight / size.

I was planning to go back to the gym the week of September 1st, but my pnumonia was so bad that I needed to hold off for a while as per my Doctor. Now I am better and ready to go!

Starting tonight, I will be working out everyday during the week after work. I will update my progress at night.

Any feedback, support is appreciated.

Thanks guys! Chat Icon

Tuesday September 14th
So I went to the gym at night. Did 30 minutes of cardio on the stairclimber and treadmill. Burned 300 calories. Did leg presses for inner and outer things. 50lbs of weight.

Good for you! Thats great you're getting back on track to meet your goals. Don't forget though- diet is even more important than the gym! Counting and tracking caloric intake is a great way to measure your progress.

Good luck!

Thank you! I always count calories and eat about 1500 a day. Even at my thinnest- this number worked for me.

Weds September 15th
Went to the gym at 5AM today! Did half hour of cardio- on elliptical and bike. Burned over 200 calories. Worked on abs today. Did ab twists- hundred times on each side at 10 lbs. Did crunches. 100 at 40 lbs on seated machine and also 100 at 10 lbs on traditional machine.

Re: My Weight Loss Journey

No work out tonight. That storm we had was the reason. OMG that was SCARY. Will go tomorrow and Saturday.

I agree. I was 164 lbs then 158 and my doc put me on a calorie restrictive diet (for health reasons). Its been a little over 3 weeks and I am down to 139. I eat 900-1200 calories. Sopposed to be 900 but I cant seem to keep up. So I am proof calorie counting works.

That's awesome to lose that in 3 weeks! You should be proud of yourself.

Well girls.... Missed the gym again today. I had a fever today and wasn't feeling well. I am hoping my pnumonia isn't creeping up again. Chat Icon

I learned getting back in the saddle is all that matters. No matter how many days you miss. Wether health or otherwise. Do it when you feel better. More harm to workout when sick.

Your doctor said that was OK?
