Mybe a stupid question but does anyone leave a pacifier in the crib with their baby???
i havent and have been noticing that in night my son has been ramming his hands in his mouth to soothe himself back to sleep. he is in full blown teething hell. but im worried he will lay on it and get hurt!! is this a stupid concern??? and even if it was in there would he know to get it he is a very restless sleeper.

Then I can find them when he losing them while he is sleeping
I don't think the pacifer would hurt him if he rolled over on it, I mean, they are silicone and plastic, not exactly the roughest materials in the world. And Christopher regularly is laying on them

DD usually has 1 binkie in her mouth and 1 more in the crib for good luck

Well, not yet. My DS is only 5 months old. I actually think it is hysterical when he is crying b/c he wants a pacifer, but there is one in his clenched fist

I leave 2 in Ds's crib..when he starts to fuss he seems to find them well in the middle of total darkness.

Right now i have one in crib, I keep by feet so i have if i need to put in her mouth.
my neice would have like 5 in her crib when she was a baby.

Right now there are approx. 5 in there. She usually finds one and gets back to sleep on her own now.

Same with us! And she is almost a year old and we've been doing this for a while. I usually find them both thrown on the floor bu the morning.

My DD usually has one in her mouth and I put an extra "floater" in the crib. She lays on it all the time and it doesn't seem to bother her.

It varies (based on how many DD throws out of the crib...  ) She usually has one in her mouth, one in each hand, and a few "extras" to get her through the night (technically, it's to help US get through the night...   )

He goes to bed with it in his mouth. He sometimes finds it but I do have to help him out. If he lays on it he will be fine.

I have 3 in there right now. I have to for in the middle of the night when I am searching for one. She lays on top of them and it doesn't seem to bother her. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Sara used to have about 5 in her crib so wherever she tyrned she would have one. I dont know how she gave t up so easily
