Mylicon drops
How long does it take for them to take effect? I THINK DD is gassy...her belly is hard, she's screaming sometimes. So...I gave her some mylicon drops yesterday...but no change. How often do I give them? How long til I notice a change? Thanks.

I put them in DD's bottle. Have you tried Emfamil Gentlease formula, that helped DD A TON! She was gassy and had slight reflux. That formula combined with a little rice cereal (1 tsp per 2 ounces) worked a miracle! HTH

sometimes you have to give them consistently to see a difference.
Is she constipated? Sometimes when DD is backed up, she's more cranky than normal

DS is gassy too so I put the drops in each bottle that he gets. He may be still a little gassy but at least he does not scream in pain anymore.

I found they didn't really do anything for DD. But every baby is different. I would use them before every feeding and see if that works.

My ped. told us you can in theory give it to baby up to 10X a day and it'll be fine  (though he doesn't reccomend that)
When we give Michael the drops, it usually works right away for him.
Keep trying!

I would give it to Andrew before his bottle so it was in his system.
Also switching to Gentlease was the best decision we ever made. It reallt helped with the gas.
