Name something DC does that drives you nuts
Mine loves to flip her sippy cup upside down and shake it until a nice puddle forms (so much for spill proof)on the floor then she smears it around.

When I ask him not to do something he tells me OKAYYYY in a snotty teenager tone.
Oh and he likes to run around and chase our dog all over the house.

She scratches her nails on the wall when I'm changing her--like nails on the chalkboard.

Shakes her milk all over her tray and smears it with her hands. Freaks out when I try to change her diaper(only sometimes like every morning.) Takes off her shoes & socks in the car. Hello??? It's freezing here in Chicago.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
I know it's his age and the stage he is in but when he wants something, he moans for it. It's like nails on a chalk board. If he wants to be held, he'll stand at my leg "mmmmmm...mmmmmmm...ugggggggg....mmmmmmm..."
He knows how to say the word UP, so it's really frustrating. I tell him he as to use his words.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
My DD does the same thing with the her cup!
After she's done eating she'll pick up her plate and say DONE then throw it all on the floor in 2 seconds flat. Dh and I barely have enough time to put our forks down.
She also just learned the words "Get it" Mommy you get it-you get the jist of the rudeness... And we're working on alll of the above!
My youngest is 7 months and her #1 thing is the spitting up..can't wait to get rid of the bibs!

Troy is in the screeching phase. He does it when he's tired, hungry, wants something, etc, etc, etc.
It really is getting old, and I want to be over, but then I know it will be something else!

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
Sarah eats at a snail's pace. Each meal is at least an hour long. So frustrating to be sitting at this table for at least 3 hours a day.
Andy refuses to drink his soy milk from a sippy, only a bottle. We've tried the ones with straws, the Nuby ones with nipples that are practically bottles, ones with hard spouts, doesn't matter. And then when I won't give him a bottle he will cry. For hours. Yet he'll drink water from a sippy with a hard spout.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
The snotty "Are you listening to my words?" from Maddie (learned from daycare).
Joseph's drama over his life...his 6 year old life, that is....he's definitely a pessimist.
or when they've watched a commercial & think it's going to solve all of life's problems.
"Mom! Mom! Come quick! This bag will organize everything you own & you will never ever miss a call on your cell phone! Daddy will be so happy!"
"Mom! Quick! Look at this mop! It practically cleans the floors itself!!"
"You know all of my clothes? I think we should get a Space Bag! It will give me more room for toys!"

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
DS1 runs like a lunatic, back and forth, through the house. Drives me insane!
DS2 is more of a mess maker, does the sippy cup shaking thing, mushes food and puts it in his hair, etc.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
DS grinds his front teeth
The sound is 10X worse than nails on a chalkboard... it goes up your spine....aahhh...plus I'm worried about what he's doing to his teeth
DD recently started flipping over on the changing table... dangerous!!! Keep in mind I have to be very quick anyway because when I'm changing one the other is in the next room... no time for nonsense and it's just not safe.
ETA: Sippy cups... Some days I want to give up and just have them on the bottle until they are 15

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
the way he fights it when he is tired and needs to nap. And the way he grabs my hair with his hands and PULLS. And the way he takes his little lobster pinchers and pinches my face. Hurts so much!!! Actually, the last two sometimes border between driving me crazy and making me laugh hysterically.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
She screams, really loud, when she is happy, when she wants something, when she is mad, drives me and day care nuts. I hate picking her up now since its a daily report about how loud she is
She fights when getting in the carseat- she hates it. I finally turned it around this weekend since she is really tall at 13 months and was very scrunched up. Thought that would make it better... but no...

this is us right now! I actually told leo this morning that I would rather hear nails on his little chalk board then to hear this whiney song one more time.

Re: Name something DC does that drives you nuts
DS likes to throw his toys when he gets annoyed. He also smushes everything into the tray of his highchair.
DD just started arching her back the minute you unlock the buckle of the infant carrier so if you take her out soon enough she slides out from the bottom.
