Names of Light Colored Granite!!!
I am in the process of picking out granite 
I have decided since i have VERY dark colored cabinets and black appliances, to lighten it up with light colored granite and flooring. Can you pretty please share the name (and pics if you have it) of your light colored granite!

we havent started shopping yet but here are some that i liked online and saved for future reference.....not sure if they are light enough for you but figured i would share.....they should post in this order:
gallo antico
gallo butterfly

That is the one we picked this weekend. And i really do like it, i guess im just scared to commit, ha. I called the fabricator up this morning and im like DONT CUT IT YET!!! He must think im some kind of LUNE. Do you have pics ???
Also, for this ganite, i was quoted $45 per sf, this is with installation and any kind of edge, is this average??

I don't know what we paid per square foot - our whole kitchen came to about $4500. I don't know the square footage - sorry!
I don't have any pics either... I don't have a computer at home (we just didn't buy one yet, so no pics are downloaded).
One thing about this particular granite - when you get water on it - it gets dark, like the water seeped into the stone - don't be alarmed, it goes away.
Other than that - I really like the movement on it and the pops of burgundy. It's really pretty!

we have ivory fantasy - it's not as light as the name implies...really warm tone (we have dark cabinets as well)

It's a lot lighter than in the photos. And depending upon the slab you get, it can be lighter or darker.

We have Venetian Gold as well w/ cabernet cherry cabinets, it was the only Group A granite color we liked. The others we liked were a little less than twice the price. Seems as if the Venetian Gold is popular due to it being one of the cheaper colors, that aren't nasty.

we ordered butter rum,we are waiting for them to call and say it is cut and ready. I am so ready to move into our home, it seems as if we were building forever. but dh said we should be moved in in May. I will post pics then.
