Nanny Salary
How much do you pay your nanny (live-out) either hourly or weekly? I would love to get an idea of what the going rate is?
Also, how many kids and what duties they have?

We pay $10 an hour. She takes care of DS...no cleaning at all. Hours are 10 to 4

One child (for now) and we started her at $15. We raised her to $16 after a year. It seems to be the going rate for nannies in my area (Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn).

$150 a week. It's very affordable but I am in PA. Childcare here runs $130-180 per week. I take him to her house. I drop off at 7 and pick up at 4:30

$560 for 40 hours a week. Some weeks are 35 hours, some are 45 hours - but we pay straight salary.
She cleans (and would cook if I let her).

$520 a week - 7:00 - 4:30ish. 3 kids - 1, 3, 5. She does the kids laundry, takes them to preschool. Picks up the toys. Will empty dishwasher.

i have a live in AuPair and pay $197 per week. That includes cooking for the kids,cleaning up and laundry,playdates,driving them to and from school,classes etc.

This is what we pay as well, I'm in Suffolk. She takes wonderful care of DD and will do the dishes if they are left in the sink.

$725 a week for 11 hours a day plus 2 weeks of vaction, 8-10 paid holidays, 3 sick days
this for a toddler (2) and twin infants
she does the kids laundry and cloth diapers and picks up kids toys

Right now she gets $11 an hr or $400 for 3- 12 hr days for 2 toddlers. 2 weeks paid vacation and holidays.
It's a share nanny and both me and the other mom are pregnant. So once the other 3 babies come it will be $15 or $720 for 4- 12 hr days for 5 kids. She comes to me, but the share toddler and infant are only there for 14-21 hours a week.

Our babysitter comes to our house. We have twins who are 22 months. We pay her $20 per hour. Hours are noon til 5pm. Different days each week, but off every Fri/Sat. So. for example we only needed her two days this week= $200. Next week we need her three days- Sun, Wed, Thurs. Two weeks paid vacation at $500 per week.
We feel its worth every cent. She 's 100% competent, trustworthy and flexible. We all love her. It was very important to us to find someone to be flexible!!!!

Our nanny comes to our house. We have we two to three days a week and pay her $14 an hour with some paid holidays and vacations. We have one 8 month old. She does her wash and has offered to make her food but we have just been using store bought for now.

$280 per week, 3 days a week, 20 hours a week
She watches two kids, and no other chores. She does clean up after the kids, loads their dishes into the dishwasher, straightens up their toys.

I paid mine $500/week for 1 kid - 50 hours per week. Then I paid her $600 for 2 kids - same hours. Her only duties were to watch and play with the kids and she did a lot with them. I never asked her to do any cleaning or chores and she didn't, but the house was always settled up and never messy when I got home. We live in Suffolk.
