Napping Schedule: 4 month old
DD is almost 4 months old and does not have a set nap schedule yet. She generally takes a morning nap in her bouncy seat within an hour or so of waking up but it can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours long. She has no set afternoon nap at all. Is this normal for her age or should I be putting her in her crib to establish naps. TIA.
ETA: I don't know if this matters but she has been STTN since 5 weeks old.

Re: Napping Schedule: 4 month old
DD always seems to nap at diff. times even at 13 months, mostly b/c she wakes up at diff. times...but the general rule of thumb that I learned from Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child is that they generally can be up for 2 hours b/4 needing another nap. At around 2 months or so I started putting her in the crib for naps as soon as she showed signs of being tired...

Re: Napping Schedule: 4 month old
at 5 months old DD has no set nap schedule. She has started to routinely take about a 2hr nap each morning, but the afternoon is all up in the air! She also STTN.

Re: Napping Schedule: 4 month old
My 4mo. DS has recently gotten into a schedule. Nap 1 around 9am, Nap2 around 12:30, and Nap 3 around 3:45. But he still doesnt STTN!
