Yeap. PhyllisNJoe created it a while ago, it’s called Friends of LIF. She posted about it a while ago but it fizzled out quickly.

I think a good practice is to try to debate ideas, not people. Apologize if you got too heated and went too far. Acknowledge when you realize you’re incorrect. Thank someone for sharing something you didn’t know. You can disagree and be civil.
I think most people will find common ground despite how they may differ on certain topics. No one really has all the answers anyway, and if you only consider the point of view of people you agree with, you won’t really grow. It’s good everyone doesn’t agree on the same thing. Imagine if people all were in agreement that velour track suits should be in style again? It would be terrible.

Not an admin. Didn’t create it but was one of the people who said I’d join when Eunice started it and posted about it.

I dunno about that......there is tons of drama on our local town FB page
I can't go on many local and school pages anymore because it is absolutely ridiculous lol
The Ring is bad enough with the, "were those gunshots?" posts almost everyday.

Maybe that’s why almost nobody participated in the zoom g2g that GoldenRod put together a while back.

Ahh you would be surprised. Many people don't have any filters at all and tell it like it is.
I DO believe these people who speak so nasty and find the need to curse and call people names don't do it IRL and they get out their frustrations here so they can portray a perfect life elsewhere.
