natural killer cells
Does anyone have any experience with this as an issue for pregnancy? I have this amoung other problems, but I am a little unsure about the treatment. My RE wants me to do intralipid IV's, while very much worth it they are costly and I would need 3 or 4. I recently read something about prednisone as treatment, I will be going on prednisone anyway, for another issue so I am wondering if this might be a more cost efficient alternative.
Thanks so much ladies. I have also posted on Infertility and Parenting to try and catch everyone who might possibly have experience with this.

My DH cousin had the same thing, she did the prednisone, she couldnt afford the IV intralips. She has twins now.

Re: natural killer cells
I have the natural killer cell problem also. I did not do the intralipid infusion with my first IVF. I was on steroids though. I put back 3 perfect eggs and it failed.
My second IVF i did the infusions along with the steroids and I am now 14 weeks pregnant with twins. So, for me, it worked. I honestly think that is what made the difference. Believe me, I know it is expensive, but we decided to do it.
Good Luck, you know what is best for you!!

Re: natural killer cells
I most definitely think the steroids plus the intralipid infusions worked for me as well. I had one failed FET and one successful w/ the infusions and prednisone. I only needed 2 treatments - one before and one after! I am now going on 26 weeks prego!
