need a good chili recipe

DH loves chili and I am in need of a good recipe. please post yours!

also if you make it with turkey instead of beef does it taste much different?

i always make mine with turkey and i think it still tastes delish...

i brown the turkey meat with onions and garlic (season with salt and pepper)
then i put it in the crock with a can of crushed tomatoes, chopped green peppers, one or 2 cans of beans (black or pinto usually) and a packet of mccormick chili seasoning and a few dashes of hot sauce.
sometimes i add some more spices of my own, like cumin, onion and garlic powder and chili powder.

i am very much a recipe follower, but chili is one of those dishes that i play around with and change up each time.


i forgot the best part......top with a spoonful of sour cream and shredded cheese just before eating!
