need a good restaurant close to Penn/MSG that is kid friendly

I'm taking DD to a show wtih MIL on Saturday, I would have done the typical kids place Mars2112 or Ellens but MIL isn't a walker...
I know the Fridays and Houstons around there but ugh..not really feeling that...I've heard about Brother Jimmy's on 8th but hoping it's not as bad as the uptown one..anything else..I would do ANYTHING really that would accomodate a 2 year old...and something preferably good not grossChat Icon

If it is during the day, Brother Jimmys is OK for the kids. Otherwise, it is not appropriate. But the food there is good!!

Also this is going to sound weird, and I haven't been there in a really long time, but the food court in the basement of Macy's (on 34th) had really good food. It was like gourmet mall food.

Mustang Harry's. It's on 7th between 31st & 30th. It's more of a pub/bar, but the food is good and I always see lots of families there, especially in the earlier part of the day.
