Need a new PCP, but having an issue now, WWYD?

I had a sinus infection about 2 weeks ago, wen to PCP's office (numerous Drs) and was told my PCP had left, but saw her covering Dr. Was also told I needed to change PCPs before next visit.

Now, I have been having pressure/pain in my right ear. It's painful and becoming very irritating. I've tried blowing my nose ,no relief.

Should I change to this new PCP and try to get in
OR
Find a new PCP all-together and start from scratch?

My concern w/ finding a new PCP is a possible wait. Where is the new PCP was able to talk to my over the phone versus me coming in (I just needed a prescription).

OH- I have HIP insurance so I have to goto my PCP to get a referral to an ENT, which is really all I want to do!

This might be too late an answer but could you try a walk in clinic for now?
