I don't know what to do anymore... My DD fights the bottle at every single meal for the past 2 weeks. In the beginning she had a low grade temp and yesterday when I checked she was at a 99.2. The ped said to wait it out when I originally called last weekend because maybe she was coming down with something, but she never got sick. She will take the bottle but once she hits like an ounce and a half she pushes the bottle out and then the bottle begins. Once she pushes the bottle out I burp her because she will usually have gas but then she still won't want the bottle. I will try to get her to eat at least 5 ounces every 4 hours and I try to hit at least 24 ounces in a 24 hour period. In regards to solids she eats rice cereal (2 tablespoons) before her second bottle of the day so I don't think she is full from solids... I just don't know what to do. My MIL and mom both say its normal and that I shouldn't force her to eat but if I didn't I think she would be happy with 2 ounces!!! I want to call the ped, do you guys think I should? Oh and she loves to suck her thumb and that is what she sticks in her mouth as she is suppose to be eating- I think she may be teething but no sign of a tooth.

Forgot to mention the she poops once day which is normal for her and has consistently been in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. She doesn't go back until her 6 month appointment so she hit those numbers at her 4 month appointment. Also at about the same time she stopped eating as much she stopped liking her paci and would prefer her thumb almost exclusively,do you this could be giving her gas and causing her to feel full
