Need advice ASAP

So, I wrote earlier that I was frustrated that AF was NO WHERE in sight. This is going to be WAY too much information, but I need some help. I went to the bathroom earlier today and oh my goodness - I got the thickest, egg white consistency (stretchy) CM that I have EVER experienced - I mean a TON of it and all together in one lump(sorry TMI! ). However, it was only that one time today (but there was enough!!) This is my first time off the pill (got off in October and on CD 46) in about ten years and I have NEVER experienced this before. So....1) Could I now have this CM because I am off the pill and my body is just "different" and perhaps my CM is this way now during my cycle? and 2) Do you get EWCM before/during/after ovulation and when is the best time to BD?

TIA I really need the help!

did you take an OPK
maybe you ovulated or are going to ovulate very late

my cycles have been very wacky since i stopped the pill in august

i never got EWCM while on BCP - but i got it right before O my past three cycles since being off BCP. my guess is, if you're not using OPKs, that you are within a day or two of O and you should start BDing now

(my first two months of BCP by EWCM was the same as yours - don't worry! it doesn't sound abnormal to me!)

Okay, I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I didn't realize that you don't ovulate while on the pill I thought you did BUT were not able to get pregnant because the egg wasn't able to be fertilized (I know, pretty dumb on my part). With that being said, it makes sense that I am getting A LOT of EWCM off the pill (my first cycle off) because this is probably the first time in TEN YEARS that I'm ovulating!! I could be wrong, but what I saw today SURELY looked like EWCM which would indicate that I am ovulating. I'm hoping AF FINALLY shows up on her own in about two weeks!

you are probably ovulating now. I know it is late compared to "normal", but this is the way my body was off the pill.

ETA: BD NOW!!! And for the next few days!

It sounds like a good sign that you are getting EWCM. I would typically get for a few days before O, with the most the day before O. Keep watching your temps. Hopefully in a day or two you should see a temp rise that is sustained, to indicate you O'ed. AF should come in about 14 days or so.

Is it cloudy? I get a cloudy EWCM type stuff right before AF. But during O I get an very clear EWCM. GL!

I've never been so excited to go to the bathroom before and "check" to see what was there!

Just went to the bathroom, and DAY 2 with EWCM - Guess I should be ovulating soon! I hope that this is what it is and I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been so worried that I won't get my period on my own now that I'm off the pill - I am now on CD46!!!

Seems like you're about to ovulate!! Keep having intercourse if your're actively trying! You may also want to take a OPK just to help you chart and be sure you're actually surging.
