Need advice on some TMI Ava bathroom issues..
My poor Ava. Ugg. Three weeks ago, she had this terrible "diaper" rash. I say that loosely because she is potty trained. Well, ever since, she's been holding in her poops and refuses to go. So, we had to put her back in pull-ups because it's causing her to have little accidents here and there, which in turn has caused her to have yet another horrible, horrible diaper rash, which in turn makes her not want to go to the bathroom at all. I don't know what to do. I'm taking her to the doctor, but she won't even let me clean her because it hurts so bad. She was up half the night screaming in pain Has anyone had this issue before? I feel so bad for her.

Rach is she getting milk in something???? They change ingredients alot (remember the Olivio?) Is she eating a lot of fruit or tomatoes/tomatoe sauce? That always does it to Hannah. The milk rashes last a while.

Well, she's not drinking milk, but she no longer has a milk allergy, so she does get products with milk in them. She hasn't changed her diet at all, she eats two pieces of fruit a day, yogurt and some veggies and stuff, so no more fiber than usual. It's just this bad cycle now because she had that rash three weeks ago because she had diahrrea and then it went away, but she was afraid to go to teh bathroom, so now the rash is back. Ugg. My poor baby. Add ontop of it that she fell down the stairs last night and it was not a night I'd like to relive anytime soon

Oh congrats on no more milk allergy You give me hope that Hannah will outgrow it one day soon!!!!
OK does the rash look pimply? If so it's a yeast rash and you need to use lotrimin. If not, what ALWAYS works for me on a really bad rash is neosporin first (tons of it) than tons and tons of cream. I use Balmex. Do it often. It's a pain, but it works.
I hope she feels better soon

Rachel, the SAME thing happened to my niece last year at this same time of year (literally the same thing and she was the same age as Ava) and it turned out she had a yeast infection. Once that went away, everything was ok

Thanks, girls I don't think it's a yeast infection because she's already had that and it's a very flat rash, so I'll try neosporin first. Thanks again
