Need advice re: increasing time between night feedings for newborn
So I just got the go-ahead from the ped to increase the boys to 4 hours at night . Right now we are waking to feed every three hours, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm, 12am, 3am, 6am, 9am and 12pm.
I was thinking of doing the 9pm and then pushing the next feeding to 1am, then 5am and 9am and back to every 2-3 hours during the day. Does this sound like a good plan? Or should I do the midnight and then 4am, 7am, 9am? Any BTDT moms with advice? Thanks!

If you are going to do every 4 hours at night, then do every 3 hours during the day (not 2). It will help them to stretch the feedings in the long run. I did my DS like 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm...then at night before he STTN he would give me like 5 hour stretches. HTH.

we feed on demand so I dk? If they wake at night at less then a 4 hr window I just stick the pacifier in their mouthes , if they still yell, I feed them..We don"t have a "time" really, it seems to be 3 and 1/2 to 4 and 1/2 hrs during the day and 5 and 1/2- 7 hours at night.
They are 10 weeks old.
