Holy Cr*p thats funny.

Danielle and I went to Cove HAven last year with another couple. I wouldnt say it is a romantic place, but it adults only. It is expensive, but includes breakfast and dinner.

The shows at night are pretty good

The hotel is from the 70's....Our first room had mold in it.....but we got upgraded to a $400 a night room with a pool, hot tub and a sauna that didnt work.

I wouldnt go there again but it was an interesting experience

I have worked at Ceasars and can tell you from a behind the scenes this is not a place that I would suggest people to go to. They are expensive, enterainment is okay, food ok and the rooms are just not up to par for the price that you pay. I think you can find nicer resorts for a better price

caesars poconos resorts. i have a discount code if u want

This is what I was going to suggest - I have never been, but hear it is a very romantic place to go.

We couldn't go on our real honeymoon b/c DH was in school, so we had a mini-moon at the Caesars Poconos...I don't know if romantic is the word i would use, it was fun, we had a great time...it's a little cheezy, but fun. But expensive, even though everything is included. Just a tip if you go, either do not book the room with the champagne glass jacuzzi or don't use alot of bubble bath in it. Another couple we had dinner with got this room and the wife dumped the entire bottle of bubbles they give you at check in into the glass. When her DH stepped in it was so slippery he slipped out the side of the glass and was hanging on the edge naked covered in bubbles. She had to get maintenance to come with a ladder to get him down. Chat Icon for us but nmt fo rthem!

we went there for our honeymoon, 1st anniversary. we're going there for our 2nd. we get a lot for the money. the resort we went to is just for couples. we had the heart shape tub and a pool in our room. we loved it

Jess,

I suggest going somewhere in Massachusetts, like the Berkshires. Most color will be gone in Vermont at that time. Maybe you'll be lucky and have some color in Bennington and surrounding area.

I am a leaf peeper Chat Icon and always try to figure out where to go for the best foliage.
Check out Foliage Vermont for more info and a foliage tracker map.

love Newport.

not a big fan of Mystic.

also LOVE Vermont/New Hampshire.

Fingerlakes (Watkins Glen area) is also beautiful

so it apple picking areas in Orange County NY.

the drive up the Hudson is usually beautiful during the fall, and all the sleepy towns (like Sleepy Hollow) will be lovely AND getting into the Halloween/Headless Horseman mood, so there are some additional activities you could try out.

We went to the Litchfield area for our mini honeymoon (we honeymooned a month after our wedding). We got married in December and wanted a winter getaway.

We stayed at The Boulders Inn - got the Fieldstone cottage - fireplace in room, jacuzzi tub, etc.
