need cooking help ASAP!!
is it possible to substitute champagne for white wine?? i really don't want to open another bottle

I think you can...you may just end up with the dish having a slightly different flavor than what is intended...but, I am sure it will be fine.

thanks - FTR i did end up using the champagne (it was for chicken with 40 cloves of garlic). it tasted great! didn't notice a difference at all.
