Need fun St Patty's day snack idea (for a party)
My DS's class at daycare is having a St Patty's party. They asked moms to be fun and creative. There are 9 kids 18 - 24 months old.
Someone is already doing green Jello. What else is fun? I was trying not to do cupcakes/cookies because I'm sure other mom's are already doing that and I didn't want to do too much junk food. Any ideas?
Thanks!!

What about fresh fruit arranged like a rainbow? You could even do a "pot of gold" with another yellow or orange fruit in it.

I was going to say you can do green rice krispy treats shaped like a shamrock but that's not so healthy
let me think...
CathyB had a good idea. I found this online. I'm sure you can simplify it a little.

Or what about fruit skewers (use the colors of a rainbow) and a green fruit dip.

you can buy melting chocolate (already green or dye white with green food coloring) and dip the tips of pretzel rods into the chocolate! dry on wax paper. It takes like minutes to do and is usually a hit with kiddies!
or just found these..I know you said no cupcakes..but these were cute and I just put these in my recipe collection to try one day! St Pattys Dessert website

Love the fruit rainbow!! Unfortunately I'm not sure the fruit will be good (meaning sour!!)

Hmm...does any recipe exist that uses Lucky Charms? That could be cute!
