need greek salad dressing recipe

ok, whenever i go to greek places, they have the most delicious dressing..

it is definately made with a red wine vinegar...but there is something else. it's tangy but slightly sweet.


does anyone have a great recipe?

i've made this concoction and also one with dijon mustard...it's tasty but something is still missing! lol

it's driving me nuts. lol

Into the mini prep I throw:

Red Wine Vinegar
Olive Oil
Splash of Lemon Juice
Fresh Garlic
Greek Seasoning Blend
A little chunk of Feta
A small cube of cucumber
Salt and Pepper

Then I blend it in the mini prep until it's smooth and correct the salt if needed.

I buy my Greek Seasoning blend in the spice aisle. If you don't have it you can use a good bit of oregano and a TINY pinch of parsley and onion powder - then an even TINIER pinch of dried mint and cinnamon and nutmeg. Sometimes if I don't want to be botehred I just use Oregano instead of the Greek Seasoning.
