Need healthy breakfast and lunch ideas
I gained 6 lbs in 1 month. That's insane. I'm 20 weeks an I have gained more than I would prefer at this point. I'm very nauseous so I stick to carbs- bagel with cream cheese almost everyday- hence the 6 lb on one month gain. What are some good ideas.

I have GD and have lost 27lbs since I was 5w.
My typical breakfast is either a yogurt (dannon light & fit greek) or either a half of a whole wheat english muffin, ww frozen pancake, or ww frozen waffle with Skippy Natural PB.

Re: Need healthy breakfast and lunch ideas
my usual breakfast consists of:
2 eggs scrambled w/ cheese greek yogurt orange glass of milk
lunch is usually leftovers from dinner the night before or i've been into the veggie burgers from morning star... they have 10g of protein in them! i usually pair it with steamed veggies/brown rice or a salad

My fav healthy breakfast is "pancakes": Blend up one whole egg plus one white, a banana, some flax, some almond milk. Coat a frying pan with coconut oil. Pour the mixture in and cook up some pancakes. Yum!

I have found that eating protein and carbohydrates together really helps with nausea. Breakfast: Steel cut oats with banana or pecans or both Fage Greek yogurt with fruit Omelet 2-3 whole eggs with cheddar cheese and tomato and avocado on the side Gluten free waffles with peanut butter Frittata with cheese and veggies Lunch: Home made chicken soup Egg salad (homemade) with mixes greens, tomato, etc Roasted chicken breast with mixed greens Dinner left overs- lean protein, veggies, starch usually squash, sweet potato, quinoa, etc. cheese burger (no bun or gluten free bun), mixed greens and small serving of fries or roasted potatoes Gluten free pasta with a side of mixed greens My nutritionist suggested having 3 meals plus 2-3 snacks a day. I usually have a snack between breakfast and lunch then one between lunch and dinner sometimes after dinner I will have another snack. My snacks are usually 100-200 calories. I have found small frequent meals/snacks have really help to eliminate my nausea.
