Need help finding a babysitter
I am having a hard time finding a babysitter. I am going back to work come Sept and would need someone to come to my home on Fridays from 12:30 to 4:30pm. I have a almost 3yr. old and a 4 month old. I have been looking and can't find anyone wanting such little hours. Any suggestions, Please Help Me.

Re: Need help finding a babysitter
i had the same problem. i found a college student (for the summer) to take care of my girls.
are you willing to hire a student?
you may find some SAHM during the school sessions to do it, if their children take the bus...

I don't mind a student. Just not to young. I would love a SAHM, but I just don't know where to find either of them. Where did you find the college student you hired?

Re: Need help finding a babysitter
What area are you looking?
I think it's going to be tough to find someone with those hours too. Are you open to an in-home daycare? I think a SAHM drop-off is the easiest you'll get without paying too much.
My mom works as a post partum/childcare but charges $15/hr. Daycare teachers with more flexible schedules might be an option. In my area, they charge $11/hr.

Re: Need help finding a babysitter
Try the college career centers in your area. Maybe you'll get a student in early childhood.
Also the suffolk child care center (or something like that) provides recomendations - I think nassau has a similar service.
