Need Help with DD's 2nd birthday theme
OK so admittedly I'm very indecisive.
I've been pondering over DD's 2nd birthday theme and I'm torn.
I want to do something different and came across these two ideas that I love on a blog.
The first is a candy themed Sesame Street party. DD does love Elmo and Cookie but I'm not a fan of character themed party decor (no offense to anyone it's just not my thing)
I saw the photo below and thought it was a cool idea. I figured colorful balloons, candy table, striped and polka dot paper goods, and decor and some stuffed Sesame Street dolls to put a twist on things.
But then....I a came across the Little Miss Birthday theme which I love. It's different and I was at Walmart the other day and they had toddler backpacks in the Little Miss/Mr theme for $5. I picked up enough to give to the toddlers at DD's party since I was planning on giving something out similar anyway and I could not beat the price.
Now I guess I can give out the backpacks no matter what theme I choose (that's not tacky right?) but I'm torn on which theme.
DD already has her birthday outfit I found for cheap at century 21...a black and pink pettiskirt and I bought a black leotard. If I go with the Sesame Street theme I will get a transfer of Elmo in rhinestones for the shirt...if I go with the Little Miss Birthday theme I found the shirt to go with it. So which would u choose? Thanks (DH is already tired of hearing me throw out ideas LOL)
I can never resize pics right so here are the links.

Both are really cute. I'm torn, I don't really know which to tell you. I LOVE the Little Miss Birthday theme (my DD had the same shirt and wore it on her b-day morning a few months ago!)...but I almost feel like you could save that for a future year, that the theme is a little more "grown up", but you may not have the shirt bigger I'm guessing, right? So if that's the case, I vote for Little Miss Birthday still...don't want to miss out on wearing that adorable shirt!

My opinion go with Sesame Street theme. I think the Little Miss Birthday theme would be good for the future when she is a bit older, but I did find it to be adorable My kids love Elmo and all the Sesame Characters. That will probably be my theme next year for when they turn two. Good Luck and don't stress to much either theme well be great for her.

I like the Sesame Street Theme- I think for some reason the Little Miss Theme seems to be a bit older.
