Need ideas for a round or oval table for my kitchen...

Our new kitchen has a round breakfast area - our current kitchen table is a rectangle and doesn't really look good. I'm looking for something that is honey colored wood that can seat at least 6 and is not a bar type table. I've browsed online but, haven't seen anything I like - any ideas? Looking for something fairly reasonablel since I have two kids that DESTROY everything

check jcpenney- im pretty sure ive seen something like what you're describing, and prices are very reasonable.

I have the same exact problem. I love our table from the old house but is a big rectangle even without the leaf and is too big for our kitchen space. I wish I could find something exactly like it but in a smaller rounder table. We are going for a dark brown and its impossible to find. Most things come in White, Black, or Cherry. I found on Bassett furiniture website, you can design your own table. Choose the size, shape, leg shape/height, and color. The table alone was $1500. I know the kids will destroy it and the sets on JCP.com are like $700 for the table & chairs... they just don't have anything that fits or space or is the right color.

Not sure if they have honey colored, but west elm has round tables...we actually ended up getting ours from overstock

I have a square table that converts to an 8 person round table that I absolutely love. It even has a turntable in the middle so if you eat family style, you can turn that part to serve yourself. Love it!

If there's a furniture store in your area that you like, just go visit them and look at their catalogs. Often, stores are unable to display everything they sell so they keep a bunch of catalogs you can leaf through to pick what you like. That's how I got my dining room table....
