Need more recommendations for wood railings...
Here's the deal I got two recommendations to have my wood railings done, called made appointments, confirmed the appointments and...the contractors never showed up. I made a third appointment with Custom Wood Railings & Furniture, they came quick, showed up at the appointment and gave a great quote. The thing is I never like to do work without having two quotes at least. In addition, the third guy said he'd beat any price, so therefore I am on a mission to find a lower quote to get my railings done. NOt sure how possible bc the quote I got was great, but I want to try!! Please recommend your stair railing guy, one that will show up please!!!!!!!

We used Golden Oak on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore. They came on time, worked quickly and neatly. We were very happy with them.

In our last house we used Sunrise Contruction in Rocky Point. They did a great job and were not overly expensive. I will try to find the #.

We used Deer Park Stairs in Blue Point. We would highly recommend them.

They weren't pricey - they were the only ones who called me back and my parents had used them yeas ago so I didn't get any other quotes. I don't have the # here but they are on Main St in Smithtown.
