Need pricing help on stuff---1st birthday related, help!!!

So, I'm starting to plan my DS#2's 2nd birthday and I need a ballpark range in price for the following things. My DS#1 is almost 4 so its been a while since I've needed these things. I want to know the quotes are get are competitive (and yes, I'm a little cheap). If FM is easier, thats cool. Whatever works. But I do need your guys help before I start calling around.

1. how much are cake smashing photo shoots these days?

2. how much would a character (like Emo) who also does face painting and/or balloon animals cost for a party?

We hired Little People Entertainment for my DS 1st and 2nd birthdays.

They did a puppet show, character meet & greet (Elmo for his 1st birthday and they were just dressed as clowns for his 2nd), singing/dancing/parachute, balloon animals, hand/face painting and cotton candy for $350. I believe it was for 2 hours.

ETA: They have different packages, so I'm sure they will work with you on price if you only want specific activities.

I just posted raves about a photographer I used for my newborn pics, but her website says her 1st birthday/smash sessions are $150 and that includes pics on CD. I'm sure people think i'm crazy for raving so much about my session, but i was so impressed. truly.
