Need reviews on the Jekyll & Hyde restaurant
DH wants to go to the Jekyll & Hyde restaurant on Sixth Avenue and 57th Street.
Has anyone ever been there? Any reviews or opinions of the place, like about the prices, food or whatever else, would be great. Thanks.

OMG, that place is AWFUL! DH and I needed to grab a quick lunch after spending the weekend in the city and we waited 90 minutes for a SALAD.
The characters are just simply annoying and it is totally overpriced. DON'T GO.

I think it's fun as a one time experience, but I would never go again. The atmosphere and everything was great, but it was a long wait to get in, a long wait for food and the food was just so-so. Plus it was ridiculously overpriced.

I agree. And, the food isn't that great. It's like a chain restaurant to me. The food is blah and the characters are annoying.

I think the food is terrible and so expensive. Also, they only accept Amex and cash.

I don't remember the food at all but it is def worth at least one trip. It was a fun time.
ETA: I wasn't going there for the food anyway

That's a place you don't go to for the food...that's for sure. It's a cute place the first time. But it gets old fast.

It was fun when I was 13 and in the city with friends
Now you couldnt pay me enough to go there...go to a regular restaurant- Hard Rock and all those just arent very good if youre not a tourist

"ran out of buns" - no buns at all in the whole place. No chicken sandwiches, burgers, etc.

Its more for kids than adults (I did enjoy it as a kid). They have pictures that come to live and talk to you and other silly things. There was a long wait and the food was average (on par with T.G.I.Fridays).
